Show work in progress and explain my working process.

First, we should know the word "grounded" what it is meaning   as the word, it has so many meaning. Grounded is said of truth or ground realities which have been established or proved and which have been in existence for a long period of time. A child or a teenager is grounded by his or her parents as a form of punishment. Grounding a child or teenager is defined as placing restrictions (for a short period of time) on the normal movements or privileges he or she is entitled to. A person is said to be grounded if he is down to earth and does not have an ego problem.

Above of three draft it is to explain the word "grounded" what it is meaning and create three pictures of the word. first, it is a child lock at home by someone, second, some logos to show because the road problem, the plane it is "grounded". Third, just show a feet with some footprint so show a steps with no problem, a grounded step.

Richard Gates
This smallish 1954 hardcover, discarded by the Hamilton School Board library department, is the sort of thing that really transports me back to Grade One. The crinkle of the plastic-wrapped dust jacket, the smell of aging glue and paper, and most importantly, Richard Gates' stylized illustrations, all remind me of when I first glimpsed, through books like this, an impossibly perfect Davey-and-Goliath world that seemed to have existed a decade before my birth.
Gates employs an interesting technique I haven't been able to entirely figure out. Is it part crayon resist? Part silk screen? Watercolour with drizzled rubber cement?
Whatever it is, he manages to achieve a lot of fantastic colour layering that needs to be seen at full size to be truly appreciated.
Of course, there's absolutely no information to be found on Richard Gates, but the back flap of the dust jacket suggests he illustrated quite few "True Book(s) of..." for Childrens Press of Chicago so with any luck, I may turn up more of his unique and wonderful work.
why that image inspired you
used small image to the front, and large image to the background, this idea inspired me, and the idea easy knows what the idea, what's the target to. also, first to catch the eyes. to see the small image as much as like logo first, and then go though the background, we find what they want to say, to sent massage. there it stronger eye contrast, eye follows.
what aspects of that artist's work you intend to incorporate in your own efforts
his idea it is more powerful and useful for many design works, the idea to use small image to the front and large image to the background, catch you eyes at a point, and go though th point, we seen the big picture, as he want to say "trees give us fruits." i think i have learn it is this idea, i would thinking how to use it in some project.

  1. Very nice, Kai. Again, good work showing the stages of the development and explaining everything. I would love to see you try to use real paint for the finished picture next time!
